Experimental photography
Through panoramic photography, we can capture a space of time, an extension of a place, the magnification of a space. In other ways, these fragmented photographs (as the name suggests) dilate a brief moment in space and time, by capturing it in constant motion along the various transport journeys I have traveled.
The photographs were taken during daily car and public transport trips, often on my way to university. Using a mobile phone camera in panoramic mode with the lens directed at a mirror, the images capture the dynamic interplay of movement and reflection. The motion of the vehicle shaped the panoramic distortions, generating abstract compositions through the overlapping of images recorded at speed.
